AKRON CIVIC THEATRE 182 S. Main Street, Akron, OH 44308 BOX OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE BASIC FUNCTION: Ability to perform box office and ticketing functions under the direction of the Box Office Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: %u2022 Use of Ticketmaster and ReportPro; includes selling tickets, placing/managing holds, preparing needed reports. %u2022 Balance end-of-day and night-of-show receipts. %u2022 Process window and phone orders. %u2022 Review event set up as needed. %u2022 Work with Ticketmaster and event promoters as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: %u2022 Ability to learn new software. %u2022 Ability to work with Windows. %u2022 Excellent customer service skills %u2013 in person and telephone. %u2022 Detail oriented proficient in basic math. %u2022 Punctual. %u2022 Must be available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: %u2022 Previous experience with Ticketmaster host ticketing systems, TM ReportPro, and Windows. %u2022 Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
