Volunteer at the Akron Civic Theatre

We are always looking for dedicated, courteous people to join our volunteer crew!

The Akron Civic Theatre, Knight Stage, Wild Oscar’s and Goodyear Theater present a combined 300+ performances and events each year. Civic volunteers are a vital part of making this historic theater and cherished cultural center a success by providing valuable services to our patrons.

Would you like to participate in the arts and have fun supporting our community? All kinds of people volunteer at the Civic, including individuals, couples, families, co-workers and groups of friends. It’s a great way to meet new people, contribute to a positive quality of life in our community and experience the excitement of downtown Akron.

What do Civic volunteers do? Take tickets, direct patrons to their seats and distribute programs. Training is provided.
