(Box Office) Client Services Manager


Full-time opportunity for an experienced Box Office professional with Ticketmaster experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Responsible for

Ticketing management of events (as determined by the Associate Director and/or Executive Director).

Contacting and working with promoters of assigned events to ensure accurate set up of events on the Ticketmaster System; placement of holds; ticket types and promotions are ready; consignment orders are completed; maintenance and updates of events.

Act as primary ticketing contact for promoter on days of assigned shows.  Includes ensuring that physical house seats match the sold ticket manifest.  Responsible to interface with the House Manager including checking functionality and distribution of scanners.

Respond to client/promoter and ticket buyer questions and needs.

Convey/Communicate event updates to appropriate staff.

Provide proper reports as requested by promoters, Executive Director, and Associate Director.

Sell tickets when needed and time allows.

Report computer and other technical issues to the administrative office.  Work with Ticketmaster to resolve issues involving Ticketmaster software and scanning software.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Train box office personnel as needed and at the direction of the Associate Director; delegate tasks to box office personnel; address complaints and resolve problems relating to assigned events and/or as directed by the Associate Director and/or Executive Director.

Education and/or Experience:

Box Office experience and Ticketmaster experience; experience setting up shows; experience working with promoters; high school diploma

Computer Skills:

Proficiency using Ticketmaster software; Proficiency using Microsoft Office;
